Chris Jericho had only been in the WWF a few months when he was pinned by Chyna at the 1999 Survivor Series pay-per-view. Armed with Miss. Kitty at ringside, Chyna was booked to pull out a big win and retain her Intercontinental Title. Realistically, it was a match many probably thought she'd lose.Vince McMahon felt Jericho was failing to live up to his potential and billing, which is likely why he was scheduled to lose. Still, that wasn't Chyna's problem, and she could only do as she was asked. The match did feel awkward in places, but it was a huge victory for her.
Beating the incoming WCW star, she continued to be part of the Intercontinental scene even after eventually dropping the title to Jericho.
