Former WWE Divas Champion Nikki Bella continues to work towards a return to the ring, and she will undergo some important testing in just a few weeks that will bring that eventual return much closer.
Bella, who underwent surgery for a herniated disc in her neck this past January, is scheduled to undergo her final CAT scan testing in just a few weeks. The scan will reveal how well she has recovered from the procedure and give us a better idea when she might be able to compete once again.
Last fall, Bella became the longest reigning WWE Divas Champion of all time (surpassing AJ Lee). She eventually lost the title to Charlotte at Night Of Champions. Following a rematch at Hell In A Cell in October, Nikki proceeded to step away from WWE to handle her injury which eventually resulted in the January surgery.
There was some speculation that Nikki's finisher, the Rack Attack, attributed to the neck injury which has sidelined her for all of 2016. During her current absence, she has reportedly been working with Daniel Bryan on developing a new finisher for when she returns to action.
