FIFA 16: 7. Aleksandar Mitrovic’s Signature Move

On December 9th, 2014 Aleksandar Mitrovic scored the equaliser against Dortmund in Anderlecht’s Champions League Group D game. The match was instantly forgettable but the Serb’s celebration will live on in 1,000 YouTube videos.
Mitrovic will play in the Premier League this season for Newcastle United so expect to see this celebration a lot more, especially if the British tabloid press don’t warm to him. The 20 year-old claims that by putting two fingers to his mouth he is cutting the tongues off the press who he believes have treated him unfairly. Unfortunately for prudes, it looks like it means something entirely different.
What a charmer.
On face value it looks too risqué to show on Match of the Day yet FIFA could add a mature mode, the same way blood spatter can be turned on or off in wrestling games. Fans love the opportunity to replicate real-life moments (especially the non-PEGI 3 ones) and last year EA proved they’re in touch with topical events by adding the Samuel Eto’o Old Man celebration.
In FIFA 16 you’ll be able to run over and celebrate with the cameraman just like MLS player Steven Gerard but if they really want to take celebrations to the next level then how about allowing the opposing team to retort?
Imagine this: their striker celebrates provocatively in your face like they’ve never scored a goal before and within a couple of taps you can be shrugging your shoulders, shouting at your keeper or ignoring the striker completely by running over to the touchline for Lucozade.
