FIFA 16: 8. UEFA/CONCACAF Champions League Mode

FIFA rules football with an iron gauntlet forged in the fires of Mordor and your team shall not pass into the annual FIFA World Club Cup without first battling through an epic Champions League contest.
The option to participate in a Champions League mode would allow fans to guide any club (although most likely Real Madrid) through the group stages, beyond the knock-out phase and into the final for a chance to kiss the most-wanted trophy in club football.
It’s showbiz, it’s glamour, it’s the big-time baby.
FIFA is the benchmark for football video games but not offering fans the chance to officially romp through to the UCL final feels like robbery. Such is the desire of hardcore fans to experience Champions League-style action that tournaments are held in game stores around the world – but it won’t be an option in a FIFA game any time soon.
Rival manufacturers Konami this year announced a deal to exclusively license the Champions League, Europa League and Super Cup tournaments for their PES title until 2019. The deal takes Konami’s strangle-hold over these rights for a decade, long enough for FIFA fans to get a little cross.
