10 Best Neckbreaker Variations In Pro Wrestling 7. The Moonlight Drive/Corkscrew Neckbreaker

John Morrison’s take on the traditional neckbreaker was interesting because he added some extra flash to an otherwise simple move. Morrison would grab his opponent’s head in a headlock and then perform a somersault, with his momentum providing enough force to spin his opponent’s head and neck before landing.
The move certainly looked impressive on camera, as it played to Morrison’s athleticism and parkour lifestyle. That said, it was a rather impractical move on Morrison’s part, because it required him to put in extra work to execute.
Nevertheless, the move certainly created made it look like Morrison’s opponents took a lot of damage on their necks, and that the momentum of Morrison’s somersaulting put far more pressure on his opponent’s neck than a normal neckbreaker would.
